She is also a current resident Stage Manager for Beth Marshall Presents. Recent Fringe works includes stage managing for “Bubble Gum Party” and “Slut Like Me”. In 2012, Blue wrote, directed and choreographed “SPINZophrenia” for the Orlando Fringe and since then has been heavily involved with the Orlando Fringe. She began her theater career with Jester Theatre and also at SAK Comedy Lab as a lighting/sound improviser. She’s performed in the parades at Disney World and has choreographed several color guards throughout the state of Florida.

Since her move to Orlando in 2000, she’s received a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts at Stetson concentrating on lighting and sound design.

She has stage managed a variety of shows in Orlando from one acts, to full plays, dance concerts, and stage readings. Michelle is a Theatre UCF alumni and has recently applied to several grad school programs. Michelle Sobrino (Stage Manager) is ecstatic to be a part of The Lieutenant of Inishmore in her second season with Beth Marshall Presents. He is a Big Easy Award winner and a proud ensemble member of The NOLA Project, as well as an at-large Ambassador for the National New Play Network. He directed the first regional production of Hand to God and Taylor Mac’s Hir at Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis.
University productions include Eugene O’Neill’s Beyond the Horizon at Loyola University in New Orleans, Leveling Up (KCTCAF Excellence in Directing), Kelly Lusk’s (a love story), The Importance of Being Earnest at UCF, and Legacy Street by Lauren Jane Redmond at Catholic University of America. Zombietown, Love Child (Southern Rep) and Orange Flower Water (Elm Theatre). Other New Orleans credits include: Balm in Gilead, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Marie Antoinette (The NOLA Project) The Seafarer, Opus. He recently directed the word premiere of Gabrielle Reisman’s Flood City with The NOLA Project. He is also the company liaison to the TNP Executive Board. He now lives in New Orleans where he serves as the Director of New Play Development at The NOLA Project. Mark Routhier (Director) was the Director of New Play Development at Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with the University of Central Florida, where he was Assistant Professor in Directing and Acting from 2011 to 2015.
